At the summer Press Tour for the Television Critics Association, the cast of the hit comedy series The Big Bang Theory shared their views about the show.

Recently there has been media coverage about the salaries of the stars of this runaway hit show. When Friends became such a huge hit, there was much made about the high salary the actors received, but Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny in the show, says she doesn’t get involved in contract negotiations and leaves that to her “people.”

The Characters

Last season Penny and Leonard’s romance ended. The two actors playing those parts spoke about the on-screen relationship and their break-up. “I thought it seemed natural to where they're at in their lives right now. They have a whole lot to learn in the ways of love, Johnny Galecki explained. Cuoko added her thoughts. “I think it was super realistic actually. I mean, relationships are up and down, and people get together, and they break up, and they're not friends, and they're friends. I mean, this stuff happens all the time. So I think it actually was perfect timing, and you never know what's going to happen with them.”
